Wasn&#8217;t in the habit of blogging then, but as always, I had highlighted some lines \/ paragraphs that were interesting \/ intriguing \/ though-provoking. This book is definitely one of those books that is quick to read, and has profound thoughts in it. Delight in the Lord &#8211; in goodness, kindness, compassion, Love &#8211; and see what happens. <\/p><cite>Psalms 37:4, Bible <\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>[35] I believe these experiences are gifts that force us to step to the right or left in search of a new center of gravity. Don&#8217;t fight them. Let them help you adjust your footing. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>[37] &#8220;No weapon formed against you shall prosper.&#8221; <\/p><cite>Words of Isaiah 54:17 <\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>[71] the only thing that will have any lasting value is whether we&#8217;ve loved others and whether they&#8217;ve loved us. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>[76] Sometime we get so focused on the difficulty of our climb that we lose sight of being grateful for simply having a mountain to climb. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>[83] There is no need to struggle with your body when you can make a loving and grateful peace with it. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>[115] If you can get paid for doing what you love, every pay check is a bonus. Give yourself the bonus of a lifetime: Pursue your passion. Discover what you love. I want to continue to encourage as many people as I can to open their hearts to life, because if I know anything for sure, it&#8217;s that opening my own heart is what has brought me my greatest success and joy. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>[165] Never again will do anything for anyone that I do not feel directly from my heart. I will not attend a meeting, make a phone call, write a letter, sponsor or participate in any activity in which every fiber of my being does not rebound yes. When you can let go of the desire to acquire, you know you are really on your way. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>[197] When someone spreads likes about you, it&#8217;s not about you. Ever. Gossip &#8211; whether in the form of a rumor that&#8217;s sweeping the nation or a gripe session between friends &#8211; reflects the insecurity of those who initiate it. Often when we make negative statements about others behind their backs, it&#8217;s because we want to feel powerful &#8211; and that&#8217;s usually because in some way we feel powerless, unworthy, not courageous enough to be forthright. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>[202] &#8220;Excellence is the best deterrent to racism. he said. &#8220;Therefore, be excellent.&#8221; <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>[211] There&#8217;s a huge difference between attending to the needs of your personality (ego) and caring for your true self. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I believe, I read this book a couple of years ago!
